WILLIAM H. ROLLINS AWARD
 
Purpose
 

The William H. Rollins Award for research in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology is designed to recognize outstanding research. This award is sponsored by Instrumentarium Imaging.

 
Awards Award
 

One award is available each year. The award will include a certificate and a check for $1500. The award will be announced and presented at the Annual Session of the AAOMR.

 
 
Eligibility
 

The William H. Rollins Award is available to students enrolled in an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology graduate program at the time of applying for the Award.  Applicants should be members of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology or should have applied for membership at the time of application.  Projects should involve research in some area of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and have been completed at the time of application. The awardee will be expected to present the results of the study at the forthcoming Annual Session of the AAOMR subject to the abstract being accepted. Previous awardees are not eligible.

 
Selection Criteria
 

Applications will be reviewed by members of the Awards Committee and will be awarded according to the following criteria:
1. Originality
2. Sound methodology
3. Significance of contribution to the science of oral and maxillofacial radiology.

 

Application

 

The deadline for application is August 15. The Program Director should send a letter by email attesting to the applicant’s eligibility. The applicant should send the application and a curriculum vitae by email to:
