RESOURCES FOR CANDIDATES

The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology has developed this list of resources with input from oral and maxillofacial radiology program directors, to assist candidates who are challenging the ABOMR certifying examination. Some of the material covered in these textbooks is outside the scope of the ABOMR

examination. Therefore, candidates who use this resource list should do so in conjunction with the ABOMR Study Guide in order to assist their preparation for the certifying examination. Conversely, the listed resources do not necessarily cover the entire scope of the examination, nor should it be implied that any topic not explicitly covered by these resources will not appear on an examination.
