California Will Have New Radiologist Dose Reporting Law Effective Jan 1, 2012

Radiologists in California will be required to add radiation dose levels to their reports under a measure signed into law recently by Gov. Arnold Schwartzenegger. This measure requires that radiologists report the dose length product or the CT dose index (CT DI) if the machine is able to calculate it. The measure will go into effect Jan1, 2012.
